Bishop Dr.Purcell Jackson, ThD,DD.JP. & Pastor Dannette Jackson
Fifty one years ago, November 11, 1973, a vision was born, a vision of a community dedicated to worship, service, and love. The vision was birthed through prayer and fasting, whichset a path that is followed today. The motto “A House of Prayer for All Nations” continues to be the foundation on which God's Way Assembly Ministries build.
Over the years, this vision has been nurtured and grown, shaping the lives of countless individuals and families. Last year, we gave thanks for all the blessings that had been poured upon us. Reflecting on the past five decades, we remember the pioneers, Bishop Purcell Jackson Snr. and First Lady Evangelist Miriam-Ann Jackson, who, with unwavering faith and all who dared to dream with them, laid the foundation of our church. Their sacrifice, dedication, and perseverance have brought us to this momentous occasion. We honour their memory and commit ourselves to carrying forward their legacy.
God's Way Assembly Ministries has been a sanctuary, a place of solace and hope, where we have drawn strength through times of triumph and tribulation. It has been a spiritual home where many have found comfort, guidance, and a sense of belonging. It has been
a wellspring of love, compassion, and support, nurturing the growth and transformation of countless lives. Our world has changed significantly since the founding of the church, and we must continually adapt to meet the needs and challenges of our time. Let us renew our commitment to living out the teachings of Christ, to be a beacon of light and love in a world that often seems engulfed in darkness. Together, let us strive for unity, embrace our diversity, and foster an inclusive and welcoming community.
Let us extend our hands in service, reaching out to those in need, and being a force for positive change in our society. Let us continue to grow in faith, seeking a deeper understanding of God's grace and sharing that transformative power with others.
